Moscow, Russia

May 2010 - Photos from my Trip to Moscow, Russia

I had the pleasure to be invited to participate in a 1000 ton International exhibition of sand sculpture by my good friend Vladimir Kuraev and director of the event. It was great to work with such talented sculptors as Pedro Mira, Ray Villifane, Vladimir Kuraev, Oscar Rodriguez, Andrey Vazhynskyy, Vladim, Olga, Rooman and others to create this beautiful Russian historic sculpture. I worked on a few areas of the Alexander the great piece (2nd section of sculpture from the right) and focused most of my time creating the Golden Horde (Mongolian army).

I also had an opportunity to meet some amazing new friends and see some old sculptor friends, who were working on other projects throughout Moscow. The city is a beautiful place with amazing architecture, sculptures and works of art. I enjoyed touring parts of Moscow and being a party of 65th Anniversary Victory Day, as well as enjoying some of the great nightlife the city has to offer.
